PLYMOUTH PROGRAMS
Emergency Mental Health Services
Emergency Services Program
Our Emergency Services
Program is designed to provide psychiatric assessment and
intervention to people of any age who are in a crisis situation.
Last year, 3,000 people were evaluated and we estimate another
1,500-1,70 more with our recent expansion into the Plymouth area.
In addition to our site locations we will now be mobile and provide
outreach services to homes, schools, and residential settings.
Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) provides crisis assessment and
crisis stabilization intervention services 24/7 365 days/year. Each
encounter, including ongoing coordination and stabilization
intervention, may last up to 72 hours.
A Masters Level Clinician, along with a family partner - for a child
in crisis, or with a peer specialist - for an adult in crisis, will
work with the consumer, their family and any other collaterals to
identify the best level of care.
