What does CFS charge for
international adoption services?

What does the Home Study
Fee cover?
The
home study fee covers all work associated with the home study
process, such as face to face interview, necessary travel, telephone
calls, paperwork, consultation, clinical supervision, home visits
and any other activities necessary to complete a comprehensive
Adoption Home Study. The fee will be due following completion of
the home study.
What does the Updated Home Study Fee cover?
If a
family has already adopted a child either through our agency or
through another licensed adoption agency, they will not have to
undergo a full home study in order to take part in our international
adoption program. The Updated Home Study fee covers all costs in
the process and is due upon completion.
What does the Coordination Fee cover?
Often families require
services not included in the home study service such as: preparation
of home study summary, home study updates, additional home study
copies, changes to home study after approval (e.g. in country, child
approval, etc. as appropriate), access to free notary on staff,
support during wait, assistance with Immigration and Naturalization
Services, assistance with the preparation of the international
dossier, consultation for the review of the child referrals.
Therefore, a coordination fee is required after the home study is
approved.
What does the Post Placement Supervision
Fee cover?
The
post placement supervision covers three home visits to the adoptive
family, necessary travel, preparation of post placement reports to
be sent to the placement agency, consultation with placement agency,
and telephone calls.
What does the Additional Post Placement
Supervision Fee cover?
Additional visits may be required due to specific
regulations of the foreign country. Fees will adjusted accordingly.
Each visit needed will be an additional $500.
